  • 1915 – Football Returns – After an absence of over 10 years, the longest period of inactivity in school history, football finally returned to the University of Buffalo in 1915.

  • 1916 – Art Powell – Art Powell takes over as head Coach but only 4 men reported for the first day of practice. From four the squad grew slowly until it reached eighteen at its maximum.
