F. E. Gladwell (Frank Eric Gladwell, circa 1914-1975) was a British poet, verse dramatist and novelist and served as a member of the British Intelligence Service during World War II. The collection contains the drafts and final typed copies of his plays, television scripts, novels, short stories, and poetry as well as letters to his second wife, Pauline Mary Gladwell, and biographical material.
