Michael G. Fuda joined the faculty of the University at Buffalo’s Department of Physics in 1967, having earned both his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He was promoted to associate professor in 1972 and professor in 1978. In 1998, Fuda received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. He served as Department of Physics’ Director of Undergraduate Studies for 23 years. He retired in 2008.
