Sharing your scholarly output in an open access repository can increase the visibility and help assure the permanence of your work.
Hosted by the UB Libraries, UBIR collects and distributes UB's research and scholarship. This institutional repository contains full-text articles, books, book chapters and reports; audio and video recordings; and presentations created by UB faculty, staff and students.

The majority of journal publishers permit authors to archive either a preprint or a postprint of their article.
Provides summaries of publishers’ article sharing policies. Look up the title of your journal to see which version of your article you are allowed to archive, where, and under what conditions.
